Hi, everyone! Welcome to my blog. Here's a quick Bio: I was born into radio and country music in the mid-eighties in Midland/Odessa, TX. I am very proud of my Texas roots (Dave will tell you). However, if you ask me where my hometown is I'll tell you Akron. I'm a Cleveland sports fan, so I know how to take disappointment and I love to watch and play all types of sports. I played soccer, softball, basketball and golf growing up and then when I got to college I decided rugby would a good choice, my knee and doctor disagreed. My favorite things to do included watching TV shows that 14 year old girls normally watch and sailing. My family normally takes a week or two every year and heads down to the British Virgin Islands. It's probably one of the most relaxing and beautiful places in the world! They also have preety good drinks:) That's me (to the left) enjoying a Bushwacker at Foxy's Taboo. Contact me HERE.
Why I like Kelly Clarkson

I was talking a few weeks ago about a list of celebrities or people that you think would be cool just to hang out with. Nothing weird or stalkery, but just people you thought would be fun. I said mine would be Kelly Clarkson....and here is why.
I think she "gets it"...you rarely see her in the tabloids and she seems to always avoid the paparazzi. AND it's because when she's not "working" she is at home in her hometown in Texas being NORMAL. She is just hanging out with her friends that she's known for ages, not mingling in Hollywood.
I think that's the why she is so grounded and humble and awesome. Whenever I see an interview with her she is so sweet and normal, just being herself and having fun. She also knows how to have fun with her friends and not be "Kelly Clarkson the celebrity" but be "Kelly the friend."
Check out this video of her having fun with her friends last night in Nashville....how cool of a friend would she be?
I hope not to come off all stalkerish because I'm not. I've actually met Kelly before and I know if I were reading this I would be like, CREEPY...but I swear I'm not.
